You can buy SME model 10, SME model 20, SME Model 30, and SME 312 12 Tonearm online at affordable prices. It is safe to say that while some other tonearms are there in the market, but 312S is built better. This tonearm has been and still is one of the best. The SME 312S 12 tonearm is designed for quality and precision. Be aware that if your are getting the fixed headshell version, because with the alignment adjustment can shift the whole arm forward and back, becaseful with the lid as it MAY hit the headshell. Used 3012R fully functional except for a tiny dent in the arm shown in the pictures. if you are still using the original plinth and cover. so now I can only use longer carts (might get it rewired one day) I had to get it resoldered back on, but ended up with a shorten wires.
